Jalan Alor

Hosting a lot of hawker stalls and seafood restaurants, Jalan Alor is one of the most famous roads in Kuala Lumpur for food. Located just behind Jalan Bukit Bintang and a short walk away from Changkat Bukit Bintang, it is a favourite after-clubbing dining spot in the Golden Triangle area.

Pavilion Mall

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is KL’s haute couture shopping Mecca. It takes a lot to stand out in the city’s mallscape but this shopping centre, which occupies prime real estate along Jalan Bukit Bintang, does just that. Opened in 2007 it has three major sections – a retail mall, an office block and two residential towers. Keeping the city’s fashionistas looking polished, this KL staple is the perfect example of how extravagant some malls can be.

Lot 10

A KL landmark, its location along Bintang Walk (central KL’s main shopping and entertainment district) has been instrumental in its success, with a connecting sky bridge linking the five-storey complex to BB Plaza, Sungei Wang and the Bukit Bintang monorail station.

Fahrenheit 88

One of the newest additions to Kuala Lumpur’s ‘mallscape’, Fahrenheit 88 is a five-storey structure that lays claim to prime real estate along Jalan Bukit Bintang. Previously known as the KL Plaza, the mall was given a RM100 million revamp since its change of ownership and its extensive refurbishment has resulted in an uber posh retail mall that plays host to a wide variety of sophisticated small-time boutiques.

Low Yat Plaza

Commonly referred to as Low Yat Plaza or Low Yat – is a well established commercial shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur’s busy city centre. Specializing in electronics and IT products, it’s located directly opposite the popular Berjaya Times Square shopping mall. Ranking high as one of the city’s best known spots for gadgets and gizmos, the 12-storey mall is divided into a series of inter-connected stores surrounding a main concourse.
